Drunk History 4

Of all the web series out, Drunk History is one of the best of the best. You should know the deal by now - the combination of drunks and American History makes for good times. The latest is JD Ryznar's telling of the far too short term of our 9th President, William Henry Harrison.

So our lesson for the day, elderly presidential candidates who are prone to pneumonia should not be elected or you know who may become the you know what, and you know what will happen and that won't be fun.

Norm MacDonald is just like you, he talks on a cell phone!

So I saw Norm MacDonald of one of the five most hilarious people in the world fame (IMO) do about a hour of stand up last night. Funny set but I don't know what was more of a highlight - walking past Norm MacDonald during mid conversation on his cell phone and making "the oh I'm here to see you eye contact or the promo photo (seen above) used for Norm which seems to be his head shot from 1993 when he started on SNL.

Stephon Marbury: Part time PG, full time Nurturer of the planet Earth

"Everyone has their own movie"
- Stephon Marbury

Starbury's web interview with Bruce Beck aka Mike'D Up is like a mini movie with web commerce, philosophy, bumble bees, dancing, and some comments on Rajon Rondo and his Boston Celtics. So Mr. Donnie Walsh, I beg you please don't place Steph on waivers this week, give me one more year of entertainment before we get burned in the Lebron sweepstakes.

Jam Alert - New Jenny Lewis

Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley) is back with her second solo record - Acid Tongue on Warner Bros on 9/23, and the tail end really makes up for the disappointment of the last Rilo record - Acid Tongue, Fernando, GodSpeed, and Carpetbaggers (featuring Elvis Costello) are all jams.

9/23 is gonna be a good day with this and the new TV on the Radio among others.
