I really don't know if we'll ever get something better than the cassette tape. Mostly for how perfect the mix tape was in comparison to a playlist on an ipod.

That's it, I'm hiring Bela Karoliyi to commentate on the first annual Cereal Challenge between myself and my friend, Brian which will take place sometime in the next couple months. Bella cheering me on with Bob Costas while watching me outclass Brian in such events as a timed cereal eating contest, a blind taste test, and a cereal eating race would be fantastic.
Some thoughts from Day 2 of All Points West or a glorified Radiohead show as it was all about seeing Animal Collective's set (which I only saw half of because of the lines to get in), planting during Kings of Leon, and then Radiohead. I don't even know what to say aside from it was like 2 hours plus of a career spanning set that had a spectacular light show and Thom Yorke's red pants killed it. I don't want to go the usual "it was a religious experience" route but if a band could score the moment in which you die and you ascend to Heaven, it'd be Radiohead.

Sports week on OAB continues as I want to congratulate my father, Patrick and my Jet fan friends - Afif, Dennis, and Kevin on the New York Jets acquiring the all time leader in interceptions, Brett Favre for a conditional draft pick. I'm actually excited for B-R-E-T-T, Brett Brett Brett on the J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets so I can hate watch Brett before or after the Giants continue their defense of the Vince Lombardi trophy.
I can't get enough of that picture or that Eli (even if he went 2-9 tonight against the Lions).
According to MLB.com, Jason Giambi's mustache is no longer a source of power for the Yankee slugger as he shaved it after Angels' first basemen, Mark Teixeira's grand slam in the bottom of the 8th yesterday. Since the Yankees went on rally in the top of 9th to win the game, I guess the now non-mustachioed Giambi is good luck for the Yanks like the 'stache was earlier this year.
So this evening, please listen to sad sounding song (I'm gonna go with You're Still the one by Shania Twain) and reflect on all the good memories of Jason Giambi's mustache this summer.
But yesterday I was off on a two block quest for chicken salad on a bagel for lunch and I saw a man in a Brian Griese Denver Broncos jersey circa 2000. Granted Griese won a Superbowl with the Broncos as a back up and could be considered to the Aaron Rodgers to John Elway's Brett Farve (except for the fact that Elway went out on top and didn't keep the American sports public hostage) but still a Griese Bronocos jersey on a 4o something dude in August with dress pants and shoes, what's up with that.
So here's a shot of said jersey with said 40 something (hopefully my camera phone will work for subsqeuent versions of this post):
